Supply of cables used in South Pars
In 1377, the South Pars Gas Complex was established as the largest gas field in the world, for the operation of multiple phase onshore facilities of the South Pars Gas Field. South Pars Complex is located in Salt Bushehr next to the coast of the Persian Gulf, which, in addition to gas production, takes great steps in the direction of social responsibility, employment, culture and education. Also, by increasing the share of gas in domestic consumption, it has saved energy and is considered as a stable and cheap source for petrochemical industries.
This field is considered one of the most important and valuable economic and national resources, which is actually a part of the world’s largest gas field with the participation of Qatar. In general, South Pars is operating in 21 phases in Asaluyeh and Kangan. Phases 1 to 10 and 15 to 21 are located as site 1 in Asaluyeh and other phases are located in Kangan as site 2.
Since 1380, Abhar cable has been included in the largest gas field development project (Southern Pars phase 1 to 24) since 1380 and provided cables for this project. Abhar Cable has provided more than 10,000 kilometers of cables for this project, including land and sea cables.
